EXCELLENT Based on 88 reviews Posted on Google Ariadna Camats PalliséTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The team at Rutheo redid our front yard patio and fence and installed an irrigation system. They were friendly and professional, and everything looks great. When we needed a couple of touch-ups on the patio, they came right away at no added cost since it fell under their 1-year warranty. 10/10 we'd absolutely recommend them.Posted on Google Christine WirzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful design and customer service.Posted on Google Solomon KarmelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Teddy and teammates went above and beyond on a major landscaping project on our lawn. Before their planning and hard work, the lawn was a mix of non-native, thin grasses, exotic ivy, invasive blackberries, occasional sharp rocks, packed clay soil, and uneven surfaces — an unusable half an acre or so valued for space and privacy but not much else. We wanted an upgrade with a flatter, usable space between beautiful, mature firs, rhododendrons, and fruit trees, flower beds filled with native plants, and moss instead of high-maintenance, exotic grass and weeds. And we had a deadline, due to a 100-guest wedding of our son and his fiancée that we wished to host in the large back yard. The place looked great for the wedding, and as the plants mature, the whole, greatly improved garden is definitely what we were looking for. On the big day, 100 relatives and friends thought the setting was stunning. Rutheo Designs is still servicing the garden, which will take a few more seasons to fully establish. But we are very satisfied with the work. Establishing the moss lawn has not been easy or cheap, but they worked hard to get it done while creating the attractive flower beds of native plants that we were hoping for. Thank you!Posted on Google Christine EspersethTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Intentional design and thoughtful implementation of native habitat restoration and food forest gardens creates lush and low-maintenance landscapes, beautiful in every season. For a broader planning overview, our guide to landscape design in Seattle walks through how ecological goals, layout, and implementation fit together.
We also share what ecological landscaping in Seattle can look like when native habitat and everyday use are designed as one system.
Rutheo Designs acknowledges that we live and work on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish and Duwamish tribes, who have stewarded these ecosystems since time immemorial. We could not call this city home without the Salish People and the Duwamish Tribe.
We aim to honor the original caretakers of this land by preserving and restoring the natural ecosystem we live in, and educating others about the role indigenous communities have played in land stewardship since time immemorial. Using native and edible plants, minimizing our carbon footprint, and paying Real Rent to the Duwamish Tribal Nation are all ways we uphold our commitment.
