Queen Anne

★★★★★

“Rutheo Designs transformed my grass lawn (ugly and high maintenance) into a garden full of native plants, fruit trees, and bushes for the wildlife –and flowers that bloom much of the year. They even put in a meandering stone walk that pulls everything together. I don’t have to do much with it, just a bit of trimming, and the garden looks spectacular in the spring.”

-Anne Miano

Seward Park

★★★★★

“We are very happy with the creative ideas and professional commitment Teddy brought to our garden of 20+ years. The fresh perspective, thoughtful planning, timely communication, and efficient work ethic led to excellent results! We heartily recommend Rutheo Designs and will use them in the future for any other garden updates and improvements.”

-Sue and Steve Petitpas

Redmond, WA

“Our experience with Rutheo Designs was exceptional. On the landscape and paving design they worked with both our budget and some ideas we had and delivered a well done colored plan that we could visualize and quantify.

On the installation, Rutheo had a qualified team of experienced, hard working, and nice people that moved at a good pace but did not rush the finished product. The finished product turned out better than our expectations.

On the maintenance side, I also recommend them to keep an eye on the watering, and maintain the new landscaping, and existing landscaping as they have good ideas on how to keep even the older growth in better shape. They use electric powered equipment which is a breath of fresh air.

Teddy the Owner is friendly and communicative throughout all phases of their services. We will be using Rutheo Designs on our next project and would highly recommend them for yours.”

Land Acknowledgement

Rutheo Designs acknowledges that we live and work on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish and Duwamish tribes, who have stewarded these ecosystems since time immemorial. We could not call this city home without the Salish People and the Duwamish Tribe.

We aim to honor the original caretakers of this land by preserving and restoring the natural ecosystem we live in, and educating others about the role indigenous communities have played in land stewardship since time immemorial. Using native and edible plants, minimizing our carbon footprint, and paying Real Rent to the Duwamish Tribal Nation are all ways we uphold our commitment.
